Our local tools process your files in your browser; we do not upload them for processing. This website may use Adsterra advertising and Google Analytics with your permission. It is not a tracking-free service.
Local processing and exceptions
Our local file, text and chart tools process content on your device using JavaScript, browser APIs and, where needed, WebAssembly. Our usage events do not include filenames, file contents, input text, chart values, raw errors, emails or license references. Network lookup tools (such as DNS, WHOIS, IP and speed tests) contact external services for their stated purpose. Loading the website, fonts, libraries and models also makes network requests. WebAssembly itself does not prevent network access. Advertising and analytics providers may receive your IP address, browser/device information, page information and cookie identifiers. Our own usage events exclude filenames, file contents and entered values. Third-party scripts run in the page and are not technically isolated from content you select or enter; local processing is not a guarantee that those scripts cannot access it.
Exports and sharing
Chart PNG exports may contain the original chart data and settings as recoverable metadata. Recovery and embed links contain data and the key needed to open it in the URL fragment. Anyone with the file or complete link may recover that data. Share only with intended recipients. A fragment is normally omitted from HTTP requests, but JavaScript and services you share a link with can read it.
Optional usage analytics
With your permission, when enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure canonical page visits, tool opens, processing starts and outcomes, coarse duration ranges, export initiations and store/upgrade clicks. Google receives network/device information and uses browser identifiers for sessions and returning visits. This is pseudonymous measurement, not a promise of anonymity. We exclude raw query strings, URL fragments, authentication, administrative and embedded/recovery views. We disable automatic enhanced measurement, Google Signals, ad personalization and session replay.
Cookies, preferences and withdrawal
Optional analytics and advertising start off. Use Privacy settings in the footer to accept, reject or change each purpose. We store that choice locally for up to 180 days. Analytics cookies are configured for up to 60 days without automatic extension. Withdrawing analytics stops collection and clears accessible GA cookies without discarding your open files; it does not erase data already received. Necessary theme, favorites, tool settings and account/session storage support requested functions. Clearing browser storage resets these preferences. Optional services start off. Change your choices using Privacy settings. Withdrawing permission prevents future activation. Code already loaded in a page cannot always be unloaded completely; save your work and reload after withdrawing advertising consent to discard its page context. Withdrawal does not erase data already received.
Hosting, libraries and advertising
Advertising and analytics providers may receive your IP address, browser/device information, page information and cookie identifiers. Our own usage events exclude filenames, file contents and entered values. Third-party scripts run in the page and are not technically isolated from content you select or enter; local processing is not a guarantee that those scripts cannot access it. Cloudflare hosting and external libraries also receive network requests. External lookup tools contact the services identified by each tool. With advertising consent, eligible pages load an Adsterra banner.
Accounts and payments
If you sign in or buy a plan, Google or Microsoft handles authentication; our account service processes your email/domain and plan status. Payment providers and app stores process purchase information. Our license service may retain buyer email and license references to administer entitlements. These account/payment records are separate from usage analytics. Paid users remain eligible for ad suppression; current prices and subscription terms are unchanged.
Retention, providers and international processing
We configure GA event-level retention to two months; aggregated reports can remain longer. Hosting, account and payment records have separate provider or operational retention periods, including records needed for entitlements and applicable obligations. Providers may process data outside Malaysia. See Google, Cloudflare and the payment or sign-in provider policies for their processing and retention. We do not set a single retention period for all providers.
Contact and requests
Lokaltools is operated by Modern Logic Tech Solutions in Malaysia (registration 202503109774 / 003722143-P). Contact support@mlogictech.com about access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal or other applicable privacy rights. We may need information to verify an account request; we cannot identify an anonymous report as belonging to you merely from a file you processed. Using the tools is not consent to optional analytics or advertising.
