How does activation work?
After purchasing on Gumroad, sign into Lokaltools with your work Microsoft or Google account. We check your email domain against our records — if it matches your purchase, features activate instantly. No key to enter, no email to wait for. Standard activates within 5 minutes of purchase. Enterprise is activated manually after your invoice is paid — typically within 1 business day.
What is a company domain?
Your company domain is the part of your work email after the @. For example, if your email is john@acme.com, your domain is acme.com. All colleagues with @acme.com emails get Standard features automatically — no individual activation needed. Enterprise supports up to 3 domains, useful for subsidiaries or regional offices.
I don't have a company email — can I still buy?
Yes — the Personal plan is made for you. Get it directly from the Microsoft Store or Mac App Store with a one-time payment of USD 24.99. No work email needed, no subscription, no renewal. You own the app outright, forever.
Does my data stay on our servers?
Yes. Lokaltools runs entirely in the browser using WebAssembly. Nothing is sent to our servers or any third party. Your IT team gets full control — the tool is just static files on your server.
What is Preset Configuration?
Enterprise customers can pre-configure default brand colors, fonts, and export settings for their organisation so every user gets a consistent starting point without manual setup.
Can we pay by invoice / bank transfer?
Yes — Enterprise tier supports invoice billing with bank transfer (net-30 terms). Standard and Early Adopter are card payment via Stripe. If your procurement process requires a purchase order number, just mention it when you contact us.
What does the SLA actually cover?
We commit to responding to support emails within 1 business day (Enterprise) or 3 business days (Standard). We can diagnose issues, provide fixes, and release patches. Resolution time depends on issue complexity.
Is the Early Adopter deal really lifetime?
Yes. One payment, no renewal, Standard features locked in permanently including all future updates to the Standard tier. Limited to the first 50 customers — we use this to build early relationships and gather feedback.
